Japanese Curry Sauce

Pickled Radish/Daikon

  • Diced White Radish 300.0 g
  • Vinegar 100.0 g
  • Sugar 100.0 g
  • Water 30.0 g
  • Turmeric Powder 3.0 g

Assembly

  • Straight-Cut Fries 400.0 g
  • Japanese Curry Sauce 200.0 g
  • Pickled Radish 40.0 g
  • Nori Flakes 20.0 g
  • Spring Onions 20.0 g

Preparation

  1. Japanese Curry Sauce

    •  Fry the onion and garlic until fragrant and then add the mince beef and fry until it is cooked
    • Add english curry powder, demiglace powder and water and bring to a boil
    • Season with Knorr Chicken Stock and sugar
  2. Pickled Radish/Daikon

    • Mix vinegar, sugar, water and turmeric powder in a container
    • Soak the diced white radish in the mixture for 2 hours/ overnight
  3. Assembly

    • Deep fry straight cut fries until golden brown
    • Pour over Japanese Curry Sauce and top with pickled radish, nori flakes and spring onion
