Laksa Nyonya is the signature spicy noodle soup of the Nyonyas in Malacca – a distinctive blend of regional Chinese and Malay cuisine. Laksa comes in many forms throughout Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. In Malacca, is it made with a rich, spicy, slightly sweet coconut broth. Fresh ingredients are essential to a good laksa, in which fresh coconut, chilli, tofu, fish cakes, and a lot of greens are used.
