Minced Chicken Thigh in Peanut Sauce

  • Chicken thigh, minced 10 g
  • Shallots, finely chopped 50 g
  • Yellow Onion, chopped 50 g
  • Garlic, finely chopped 30 g
  • Douban Sauce (Fermented Soy Bean Paste) 30 g
  • Hoisin Sauce 10 g
  • Sesame Oil 10 g
  • Sugar 5 g
  • Corn Starch 10 g

To Serve

  • Frozen mantou 10 pc
  • Spring Onions 10 g
  • Red Chillies 10 g
  1. Minced Chicken Thigh in Peanut Sauce

    • In a Pan, sweat Shallots,Onion, and Garlic.
    • Add in Minced Chicken Thigh and saute till fully cooked.
    • Season with douban sauce, hoisin sauce,sesame oil and sugar.
    • Add in cornstarch to thicken, lastly add in Knorr Concentrated Chicken Seasoning and Lady's Choice Peanut Butter. Stir till fully incorporated.
    • Remove from heat and let it cool
  2. To Serve

    • To serve, cut a slit in the middle of the fried mantou and spoon in the cooked filling.
    • Garnish with Spring Onion and Red Chilli before serving
